Brief Description

IFB Solutions employs workers who are blind and visually impaired, along with sighted workers as needed, to manufacture diverse products for government clients, including the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) for the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, the General Services Administration, and private industry.
Rehabilitation professionals and other Lighthouse supporters throughout the state refer potential employees. The number of employees who are blind and visually impaired has been steadily increasing to meet the needs of new product lines, and National Industries for the Blind has recognized Lighthouse for employment retention, growth, and upward mobility.

Services Offered

• Employment/Job Training
• We employ individuals who are blind or visually impaired and sighted workers as needed. Typically we employ a 75/25% ratio of blind or sighted workers.


• Low Vision Services
• At the Community Low Vision Center we sell aids and appliances to anyone needing these items, such as Video Magnifiers, talking clocks, talking watches, long white canes, money identifiers, magnifiers, talking or large display telephones, etc. A portion of our revenue goes back into services we provide or would like to provide such as a low vision support group, or even computer classes.
