Brief Description

AADB is a national consumer organization of, by, and for deaf-blind Americans and their supporters. "Deaf-blind" includes all types and degrees of dual vision and hearing loss. Our membership consists of deaf-blind people from diverse backgrounds, as well as family members, professionals, interpreters, and other interested supporters.

Services Offered

  • Consultation/Technical Program Assistance
    • Provides technical assistance to providers of services for the deaf-blind.

  • Information and Referral
    • Provides information on deaf-blindness to deaf-blind persons, families, and educators. Maintains network of chapters throughout the country to refer to local resources for deaf-blind persons.

  • Professional Training
    • Holds annual convention.
