Part 1: Create An Application Log

Create a log to keep track of:

• date of initial contact with employer
• method of contact
• contact information
• whom you interacted with at the employer
• when you picked up an application
• when you turned an application
• when you followed up on an application
• information on all contacts following
• any other important information you’d like to keep track of

Create a sample record and list the important events that would be a part of your application process.
